As Auraya is the protector of the Siyee, she is sent to investigate reports of a stranger abroad in the lands. She finds a mysterious woman claiming to be a friend of Mirar (founder od the Dreamweavers) who makes her an offer that she cannot refuse, lest she face the wrath of the gods.
In the mean time the Pentadrians are plotting and scheming under a new leader to destroy their enemies.
Trudi creates a more adult and complex story than her previous trilogy with strong female roles and an excellent portrayal of both sides of a war. This is a great end to a great story with an unexpected twist in the epilogue.
