The incredible swashbuckling epic reaches its conclusion in this third volume of the Liveship Traders Trilogy.
Althea Vestrit is still trying to track down the Liveship Vivacia, still under the control of the ruthless pirate Kennit. Things are not straight forward however as the vessel she is second mate on is the Paragon, who may have his own agenda.
Meanwhile Bingtown is a city under siege from without and treachery from within. Ronica has her work cut out to try and unite the city against the Chalcedeans, the least of which is being branded a traitor.
Everything however could be in vain as Vivacia faces a confrontation as the secrets of the Liveships are finally revealed.
As with the previous two novels in the series, the story just gets stronger and stronger and this book is a stunning conclusion to one of the truly great fantasy trilogies.
