No Matter what type of book you enjoy, young or old, there are plenty of great reads to give you a fright this Halloween. These will really get you into the spirit of the season
Vampire Zero is the third novel in the series written by David Wellington.
US Marshal James Arkeley is the countries foremost authority on Vampires, but these aren't the romantic Vampires that will seduce you as much as kill you, these are Monsters with sharp teeth and a voracious appetite for human flesh and blood. Arkeley brought police investigator Laura Caxton into this hidden world and taught her (nearly) everything he knows. Then there was the Battle of Gettysburg, a war against a whole army of Vampires and Arkeley gave up his life to save others. Only he didn't die.
Now a Vampire himself, Arkeley is one of the most dangerous creatures loose in the world, fighting vampires for so long he knows all the tricks and tactics, and those of the police too.
Laura must hunt Arkely down before he murders his family, or worse becomes a "Vampire Zero"
From a true horror genius, The Graveyard book is a young adult fantasy horror novel by Neil Gaiman and features a boy whose parents die while he is at an early age and he is adopted and raised by the occupants of a graveyard. These occupants include ghosts, ghouls, werewolves and other undead and supernatural creatures, who even teach him some of their tricks (like the ability to fade like a ghost). The Title is a homage to "The Jungle Book" as is the initial plot(boy raised by animals rather than undead). Each chapter of the book covers a year or two in the life of the boy, as he grows up.
Neil Gaiman is one of the best authors I have read and he lives up to this reputation with this new novel, this is a great novel for young and old alike.

The real film is based on the twelve issue DC comic book collection of the same name. The story features original superhero’s in an alternate history United States where [...] |
| 2012, The year of the apocalypse? After looking at the 2012 trailer again, I decided to look into more detail the predictions that surround this story. The first information I came across was regarding something called Nibiru, which I must admit I have heard about. It turns out Nibiru is the name of the planet found last year which was called [...] |
| Chained to a bunk bed with a velociraptor I could survive for 1 minute, 19 seconds chained to a bunk bed with a velociraptor So how long could you survive Chained to a bunk bed with a velociraptor? This is a nice distraction during the humdrum of daily life and appealed to my (possibly twisted) humour. Check it out. |

| Is this the Rise of the Robots? I have been fascinated for years about the rapid development of robots and recently they really do seem to be getting pretty advanced. The newest one I have seen is called the Nao by these guys: Aldebaran Robotics. Nao is a 57 cm tall friendly robot that includes a computer and networking capability at its [...] |
