Science Fiction and Fantasy Books

This website exists due to one reason only, my passion for science fiction and fantasy books. I have been an avid reader for any good fiction since the first book I remember reading, which was in primary school, I was about 8 years old and the book was called "The Weirdstone of Brisingamen" by Alan Garner which was first published in 1960, previous to that I had read what I would call childrens books, and while this was really a childrens book too, it didn't seem so at the time. Ironically, much as I loved the book, I could never pronounce it correctly.

I didnt really read much after that till my Gran let me borrow her copies of the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings, in my first year of secondary school aged 11. These books for me re-opened my eyes to a whole new world and after I read through all four books, I was hooked

And so after many years of reading (on and off, life gets in the way) I felt that I should share information about these precious stories with others, and this website is born.

This is a gathering of the books I have good, valid information about, some of which is not easy to track down, my hope is that others will like reading about these books, and possibly go away and read and ultimately enjoy some of these books covered on this website.
